Reviews and Ratings
Despite the ocean view from the room, the hotel felt very old and tired, likely due to staff shortages. The location was great with cafes and ocean at the doorstep, but some confusion with the entrance. The facilities were on a roller coaster with excellent ones like the rooftop pool, but some maintenance issues like missing tiles in the pool.
The hotel is ideally located near good restaurants and the beach, but it requires renovations as the rooms are small with limited facilities and in need of a makeover. The parking, especially disabled parking, is hard to access. The service could use more training, but staff like William are excellent. The central location offers beautiful waterfront views, though improvements like additional safety rails are needed. Dining options are limited, but nearby cafes are available. The hotel's facilities need attention.
The hotel overlooks the kiddies carnival and pelican feeding, but unfortunately, it was dominated by a group of people during my stay. The rooms, although serviced every third day, were clean and had a balcony, sofa, kitchenette, and laundry facilities; however, the view was of a car park. The service was accommodating and welcoming, although there was some minor issue regarding forwarding calls. The location was convenient, being next to restaurants, kids rides, playgrounds, the ocean, and a bike track, but it felt a bit crowded and inflexible. The dining options were limited, leading me to opt for a nearby cafe. The facilities overall were satisfactory but could use some improvements.
